Prayer Points for Corporate Fasting

Read Isaiah 58 and Matthew 6:16-18 every day of the fast.

Examples of fasting: Matthew 4:2, Acts 13:2, 14:23, Daniel 9:3

· Prayer and fasting go hand-in-hand! Pray every time you desire what you are fasting from.

· God speaks to us clearly when we focus on Him in prayer and fasting!

· Worship God out of a thankful heart while fasting!

· Check the attitude of your heart! Phil. 2:14-16

Tips for fasting

· Make a commitment and stick to it. Daniel 1:8

· Be accountable to someone. Proverbs 27:17

· Drink a lot of water and rest.

· Set aside time to pray and worship. Acts 13:2-3

· Walk by faith, not feelings. Habakkuk 2:4

· Pray, pray, pray! 1 John 5:14
